The Dallas Stars Alumni Association is very excited to announce the 2nd Annual Community Chest Charity Game this March 15, 2015 immediately following the Stars game at the AAC. Dallas Stars Alumni & St Louis Blues Alumni have committed to playing along side a selection of Youth Players from local Youth Hockey Associations. The goal is to raise funds for Defending The Blue Line. Youth players that fundraise would have the chance to be a part of the team that include some of the legends in hockey from both the Stars and the Blues. DSAA, with the generous support of the Dallas Stars, have laid the framework for a great day of hockey.
What is Defending The Blue Line?.... The mission of Defending The Blue Line is to help ensure that children of military members are afforded every opportunity to participate in the game of hockey. Funds received through the Community Chest Charity Game will stay here in Texas supporting the mission to "Keep a Kid in The Game". Families affected by a fatality, disability or other financial impact that would cause their kids to give up the great game of hockey receive priority assistance.
Together as one hockey community, the DSAA Community Chest Charity Game will be a great success for this and many years to come! Please CLICK HERE to begin your fundraising campaign!
