These many years of successful youth hockey in Dallas would not have been possible without the coaches, players and families that have been such an important part of our past.  Over the years DJHA has remained committed to developing the character of our players as well as their hockey skills. We believe that participation in team sports helps young athletes build life skills that prepare them for college and their careers. It is in this spirit that we would like to seek out our alumni and track their personal and professional growth as well as their hockey careers.

With over 45 years of fielding hockey teams in the Dallas Metroplex there are thousands of alumni that have worn the Penguins jersey and we would like to hear from them. If you are a former DJHA player, coach, board member, volunteer or family member please take a moment to register as an Alumni using the link below. We will keep your contact information private, but we would like to begin reconnecting with our alumni to keep you up to date with information about how the Dallas Penguins are doing today. We have had some alumni suggest that we keep them informed about how the Penguins are competing on a local and National stage. We encourage you to keep track on our website and on our Alumni page for up to date details.  Please feel free to add any historical information you may have about DJHA or contact information for others in the Dallas hockey community that may be able to assist us in our search.

The DJHA Annual Alumni game is held every year in January on the Dallas Penguins home ice, located at Dr. Pepper StarCenter in Plano. The game is hosted by the Dallas Penguins 18U AA team. The last two games have been a huge success and the game continues to grow each year. This is an amazing opportunity for all DJHA Alumni to re-connect with the association, as well as old friends, coaches and teammates. 

If you would like to participate in the game, volunteer, or support the event please email the Alumni Committee. All participants must be members of the DJHA Alumni Association. Given the game's popularity each year, there are a limited number of spots available to play in the game, but we welcome all to help and join in on the experience. 

All proceeds of the game go to the Dan Hess Scholarship fund. The Dan Hess Memorial Scholarship fund was established in 2007-2008 to honor Dan Hess who was one of our coaches. In 2014, the DJHA Board of Directors voted to transition this scholarship to annual award providing a scholarship to one or more graduating seniors at the end of each season. Award recipients are awarded during our annual meeting in March. In addition, the recipients are also recognized on a perpetual plaque that is on display in the trophy case upstairs at DPSC Plano.

DJHA is proud to recognize past player and DJHA Alumni Eddie Xiao. Eddie is in his Freshman year as a Midshipman at the United States Naval Academy. Eddie is currently playing defense on the Navy Hockey team. We wish him Good Luck!
