The Jennifer A. Kemp Foundation is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization established to provide financial assistance and to do charitable acts: to further the educational opportunities of business students; to support programs focused on saving animals in distress; and to raise the awareness of hockey and other sports which enhance the self esteem and opportunities for leadership for today’s youth. EnCana Corporation representative Thomas Nelson is presented The Dallas Penguins Sponsorship Recognition Banner by DJHA President Don Girard thanking them for their support.  Helping in the presentation are Coach Sleavin's Penguin Squirt team.  EnCana's generous contribution to the Dan Hess Scholarship Fund enabled ten young players from select financially needy families across the 17 team organization to play hockey this season. EnCana is an innovative and responsible natural gas producer, providing energy for communities across North America. As one of the largest natural gas producers in North America, they produced 1.4 trillion cubic feet of natural gas in 2008 - that's enough to heat nearly 11 million homes for one year. Each year, the Dallas Junior Hockey Association (DJHA) “Dallas Penguins” conducts a sponsorship campaign directed toward improving the hockey experience of young players in the Dallas area.  We are the largest, oldest and most successful youth hockey organization in the Dallas Metroplex.  As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization we depend on donations to help supplement fees.
