Dallas Junior Hockey Association

DJHA is the largest youth hockey association in Texas. We have teams ranging from Tier I Midget Major AAA to Mite Select that are all certified by USA Hockey.  We have assembled the most experienced and connected professional staff in the Metroplex.  DJHA's first season on the ice was 1971-1972.

Please make sure your player is registered for the '08-'09 season by August 1. Go to www.usahockeyregistration.com and register on-line. Print or forward your registration confirmation to your team manager.

The 2008 Western Regional Silver Stick Tournament hosted by DJHA on Columbus Day weekend will include AA, A and B brackets for the Midget Major, Midget Minor, Bantam, Pee Wee, and Squirt Divisions. We will offer A for the Mite division. Click the Silver Stick tab on the top right for more information and the registration form.

 Jaz Hayden Named Dallas Penguins Tier I

U18AAA Head Coach

Jaz Hayden has been hired as the Head Coach of Dallas Penguins Tier 1 U18AAA team. Hayden is coming off a very successful season as the head coach of the Alliance Bulldogs U18AAA team.  Alliance U18AAA assistant coach from last season Scott Tinkham will also be joining Hayden on the Penguins U18AAA staff.

“I am very excited to join the Dallas Penguins organization and look forward to helping our U18 players develop and get opportunities at the next level.  I enjoyed the time I spent with the Alliance Bulldogs Association and appreciate all they have done for me and my family.  I felt it was in the best interest for the long term future of U18 Tier 1 hockey that I move over to the Penguins.  I really like the direction they are heading with their program, and I am excited to get started with my team” Hayden said.

“We are very excited to have Jaz and Scott become part of our program.  Jaz has been one of the most successful coaches in the Dallas area for many years and will be a great addition as we look to build one of the premiere Tier 1 associations in the country,” stated Dallas Penguins Director of Hockey Eric Silverman
