The 2008 Western Regional Silver Stick Tournament hosted by DJHA on Columbus Day weekend will include AA, A and B brackets for the Midget Major, Midget Minor, Bantam, Pee Wee, and Squirt Divisions. Jaz Hayden Named
U18AAA Head Coach
Jaz Hayden has been hired as the Head Coach of Dallas Penguins Tier 1 U18AAA team. Hayden is coming off a very successful season as the head coach of the Alliance Bulldogs U18AAA team. Alliance U18AAA assistant coach from last season Scott Tinkham will also be joining Hayden on the Penguins U18AAA staff.
“I am very excited to join the Dallas Penguins organization and look forward to helping our U18 players develop and get opportunities at the next level. I enjoyed the time I spent with the Alliance Bulldogs Association and appreciate all they have done for me and my family. I felt it was in the best interest for the long term future of U18 Tier 1 hockey that I move over to the Penguins. I really like the direction they are heading with their program, and I am excited to get started with my team” Hayden said.
