Dallas Penguins 14UAA Slava Tugolukov Drafted to WHL!

The Dallas Penguins Board, Coaches and entire Organization would like to congratulate our 14UAA Slava Tugolukov on being the first DFW AA player to ever be drafted to the WHL (Western Hockey League) this week!  The WHL Bantam draft allows for the orderly transfer of players to WHL Protected Player Lists (PPL) from the bantam ranks (13-14 year-olds).  The WHL Bantam Draft is an annual outing, in which the Clubs of the WHL select players who have graduated from bantam.  During the Bantam draft, players from the four Western Provinces of Canada and the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wyoming are eligible to be selected. may be selected.
 
Tugolukov was selected as the 179th overall pick in the 9th round by the Tri-City Americans located in Kennewick, WA.
