A Dallas Penguin Service Project

The "Warming Our Community" Coat Drive, a Dallas Penguin service project, concluded successfully on November 19th with the delivery of heavy winter coats for the homeless. Under the leadership of Zack Densmore and with the assistance of Liam Moore and Preston Ford, coats graciously provided by Dallas Penguin families were collected from the various rinks and delivered to the Bank of America facility in Plano. The team was also able to link this service project into their schools to collect additional coats.
"This service project was a great success and gave our families the opportunity to give back to the community in a tangible way. I would like to thank Zack Densmore for his leadership in driving this project and Coach Barrett Wilson for taking the time to nominate one of the young leaders in our organization" said Bryan Ford, DJHA President.

The overall coat drive under the leadership of Zach Wooden in conjunction with SLANT45 and Bank of America has collected over 2100 coats at last count with more to come.
