The Dallas Penguins 14U AA team traveled to Chicago to compete in the Central States League Showcase and came away the victors with decisive wins over the Orland Park Vikings (2-1), Chesterfield Falcons (9-1), Chicago Huskies (4-0), Chicago Hawks (7-3), and Littleton Hawks (4-1).  The tournament featured teams ranked 1, 3, and 6 from last year’s Tier II rankings.  This victory marks the first time a team from Texas has won this tournament.  The 14U AA team, led by coaches Erik Jansen, Mike Salekin, and Mike Kelly, look to use this victory as a springboard to greater things for the 2017-18 season.
